Life Size Models Launch New Website

San Jose indie/alternative rockers Life Size Models launched their new website with new content, press quotes, and videos.  The band just finished a string of successful Bay Area shows, including a raved about performance at Bottom of the Hill in May.  LSM are also going into the studio the record new music, which I personally can't wait to hear.

Stream Till I Fall's New EP + Release Show Announced

The new Till I Fall record is available now everywhere music is streamed!  To see the album's magic come alive, don't miss their EP Release Show on Friday May 12 at Forager in downtown San Jose!

Big thanks to local newspaper Metro for showing some love for the new EP:
"Till I Fall capture that anger with their punchy sound. There’s the galloping Blink-182 drumming, the cranked guitars and the overlapping, nasal melodies, which mirror a head swimming with so many thoughts, it’s impossible to grasp at any single one."

Martay Releases New Album "Before The Bouquet" & Video

Martay, my soul-sister and recent partner-in-crime in Austin for SXSW, just released her new album Before The Bouquet last Friday!  You can find the album on all major outlets, including iTunes, Amazon, and Spotify.  Martay also released her music video for "Aye-Yi-Yay" yesterday, featuring some great choreography in the scenic California desert.  Check out what this artistic singer-songwriter from the Central Coast of California has to offer.  My personal favorite is "Stick-Up" which tells the story about dangerous romantic entanglement.

Eyes On The Shore Premiere New Maestranza EP

Eyes on the Shore's highly anticipated new EP Maestranza premiered in SF Weekly yesterday and it's so GOOD!  You can stream the whole album now, including my favorite track "Starting Fires."  The band funded the album entirely via a pre-order campaign through their website, which just shows how loyal their fans are, excited to get the new EP on vinyl.  Eyes on the Shore's EP Release Show is tomorrow night, Thursday November 17th, at Rickshaw Stop and we urge you to go see them live.  It will be a magical night with Owl Paws and Strange Vine supporting the band.

Check out their new liquid light show video for "Maestranza" as well!

Life Size Models Added To Booking Roster

Barb Rocks welcomes indie rockers Life Size Models to my booking roster!  Having met the band at a Balanced Breakfast meeting last year, I instantly recognized the raw talent and charm of this young quartet that remind listeners of The Strokes.  The band has already garnered attention from CMJ and is in regular rotation at local college radio stations.

I highly recommend you watch their video for "State of Mind" and listen to their debut EP Burden of Youth on Bandcamp!

Booking Roster Grows With Skyway View

Barb Rocks welcomes ambient rockers Skyway View to my booking roster!  Skyway View features passionate vocals, over-melodic guitars, atmospheric keys, driving bass lines, and stadium drums to their 80's influenced sound that reminisces bands like The Cure and Psychedelic Furs, with a frontman in the likes of Scott Weiland that really captures the audience.  Vocalist Mr. Kerosene used to front East Bay rockers Drop Dead Sixty, whom I used to manage, so teaming up with this project is just a natural progression.  I look forward to chasing the sky with this talented six-piece that's flying high!

Skyway View's single "Made of Glass" just won Akadamia's September 2016 award for best Alternative Rock band and they have a cool video for "Crimson Petal"!

Till I Fall Join Booking Roster

Till I Fall is an alternative/pop-rock band based out of San Jose formed by singer/songwriter Brandon Leland.  Having worked on show bookings with Barbara in the past, it only made sense to take them under our booking roster when they hit her up for a release show. Till I Fall has toured nationally and has shared the stage with Puddle Of Mudd, Unwritten Law, Stickup Kid, Forever Came Calling, and You, Me, and Everyone We Know.

Till I Fall just released their new single and video for "Scarlet" and have more releases in the works.  You can also listen to their album "11 Years" and "Lessons" on Bandcamp.
