Alex Winters Releases New Single "Hearts On Fire"

Georgetown’s favorite pop rocker Alex Winters premiered her new single “Hearts On Fire” on November 22.

Per Alex, “Hearts On Fire” speaks to the sensual side of who she is. Inspired by an erotic poem, she decided to use the imagery in that poem and write her own story into it.

Stitched Sound premiered the song stating, “‘Hearts on Fire’ is a vibrant piece with a flame underneath as it drives her epic brand of music.” Stage Right Secrets also posted the premiere on their site. Broken 8 Records then premiered the lyric video, which was created by JD Vazques using the album art that was designed by A.G.Ink.

Frantic Romantic on Soundwaves TV's Season 2 Premiere

Soundwaves TV featured Frantic Romantic's "At Night" official music video in their Season 2 debut! The video is featured at 1:15:40 in Vimeo below. Soundwaves is also premiering the band's new song and video "Rocketship" on March 31st, plus the band will be live in the studio with them on April 27th! Can’t wait for you all the experience “Rocketship” — it’s a great song and from what I’ve seen in the trailer, it’s going to be epic!

San Jose dream-pop rockers Frantic Romantic released their newest single “Celestina” today with an awesome animated video created by lead singer Mr. Kerosene!

In honor of Dia De Los Muertos, San Jose dream-pop rockers Frantic Romantic released their second single and music video today with an awesome premiere in No Depression magazine! Writer Mary Roberts states:
“With Alt-Pop hooks, the group easily wins over your heart and your ears which does the soul good. Vibrant melodies take over the track as it captures the nature of the band and also the video. Bound to win you over, Frantic Romantic quickly proves they have staying power in the modern era.“

San Jose’s new dream-pop rockers Frantic Romantic released their first single “At Night” today with an awesome music video! Thanks to PureGrainAudio for debuting the band’s moody song about solitude, as well as the incredible artwork of their upcoming album.

Lead singer Mr. Kerosene talks about the making of the video in the article, stating:
”We really wanted to play into the title and the mood of the song, which is basically bleak solitude. The whole band is separated, playing this song in their version of the same room.”

After a few months on only being able to hear the new single on Live105's Soundcheck program, The Go Ahead release their long-awaited single "About To Burst" on all major outlets, followed by news that their new EP named In Harms Way will be coming on this Fall.  You can buy "About To Burst" on iTunes and stream the catchy tune on Spotify.

The Go Ahead was also featured in Infectious Magazine for their 'The Other Gig' series earlier this month.

"We can't take credit for calling Barbara Wahli the queen of the South Bay scene; it was actually a DJ on FCC Free Radio. We're not even sure it's a great title for her, as she's about the farthest thing from a diva we can imagine. But it is admittedly catchier and more glamorous than what we'd say, which is simply that Barbara Wahli is the hardest-working woman in South Bay rock.  Not only does she promote Barb Rocks shows all around the South Bay, but she's also a real advocate for local bands.  If she hears something she really likes, she will champion that band, and in a few cases (A Four Star Affair, Drop Dead Sixty, Letters Make Words) even manage them.  Her energy is infectious, and her ear for local talent remarkable."
