LIFE SIZE MODELS
Life Size Models is an alternative rock band from San Jose, CA that blends garage rock attitude with an indie aesthetic: memorable riffs, relatable lyrics, and reflective ballads.
LSM consists of Chris Seymour (vocals/rhythm guitar), Jon Sosa (lead guitar/vocals), Anthony Martos (bass/vocals), Stephen Seymour (rhythm guitar), and Chris Denn (percussion). Forming as an outlet for dealing with college hardships, anxiety, and growing pains, lead songwriter and singer (Chris Seymour) worked with various talented musicians in order to craft a substantial collection of songs.
In late 2017, the band selected 5 songs to release under the title "Homemade" - a completely self-produced EP. “Homemade” is a cohesive group of melodic and hard hitting singles that solidified the band's sound to critical acclaim.
Life Size Models has received a mention in CMJ.com New Music Discovery, received coverage from San Francisco's "The Bay Bridged", "Do The Bay, SF Sounds' "Indie Rock Darling's Need To Know', and San Jose's "The Metro". They also landed in the Top 10 NoisePop Festival Competition, and enjoy heavy rotation on 90.5 KSJS in San Jose, 88.1 KZSC in Santa Cruz, and 90.7 KLX in Berkeley.

"There's hooks aplenty with Life Size Models' jangly-strummy goodness, exploring the personal (Bedroom Eyes) and the pedestrian (Bayshore Freeway) on their catchy new 5-song EP Burden of Youth."
“Rugged, Raunchy, ROCK n Roll for the purists! From the first to last song of their set...Hair flailing, heel stomping hard strings and vocals embodies the stage performance and sound of San Jose rockers Life Size Models!"

“With the plethora of bands in the Bay Area, it can be overwhelming to sift through all the sounds to find the true gems. Thankfully, SF Sounds has taken a listen and have branded the following local groups as definitely ones to watch.”
